Established in 1917, Shanghai University of Finance And Economics (SUFE) is a multi-discipline key University directly supervised by China’s Ministry of Education. It has seven academic institutions, namely, School of Economics, School of Accounting, School of Finance, School of International and School of Law, as well as four departments, namely, Department of Statistics, Department of Foreign Languages, Department of Information Management and Department of Applied Mathematics. With economics and management as its main focus, the University also offers education in the fields of science, law and languages. There are at present 25 Bachelor programs, 27 Master Programs and 20 Ph.D programs. The faculty totals 1176 including 544 full-time teachers, 277 of them are professors and associate professors, 49 of them are doctoral supervisors. The total enrollment of the University amounts to more than 10000, including more than 2700 graduate students Studying towards Ph.D or Master degree.
